PSSPEC is now available online to create both sizing and specification in one easy-to-use web-based application. Simply register from the Katolight Login and you are ready to begin using the sizing and specification program.
To calculate sizing, enter the project's requirements as well as the data for the loads the generator needs to power. PSSPEC takes into consideration voltage dip, generator temperature rating, derating factor for altitude, nonlinear loads and loads involving low inertia.
PSSPEC determines the Katolight catalog model for a Custom Product that will best meet your needs, and an alternate model to help you identify the most cost-effective generator set. The online version will also recommend a Katolight Standard Product as an additional generator set option.
PSSPEC sizing printout includes a list of the loads entered, a summation of the load data, and both the suggested Custom Product, Alternate Custom Product and Standard Product models.
To create a specification, select components for the genset. Information from the sizing will be displayed if a sizing was created also. You can view the specification, print directly from your browser or copy the text to your word-processor application and edit the spec to fit your specification format.
PSSpec Online has never been easier to use, and you can access your PSSpec projects anytime, anywhere. Go to www.katolight.com, Login, and your saved projects are ready for viewing or editing.

PSSales is Katolight's electronic version of our sales and engineering catalog. PSSales contains marketing brochures and specification sheets needed to inform you about the Katolight product line.
To download PSSales and install the software on your computer, click the PSSales logo above or the Software link. PSSales must be installed directly on your computer. Check often for version updates.
Spec Sheets are just a Login away for quick and easy access to the Katolight product line. Spec Sheets are available anytime, anywhere; simply Login and click the Spec Sheets link. Spec Sheets can be viewed using Adobe Reader. For best results Adobe Reader 6.0 or newer is recommended. Online Spec Sheets are updated on a regular basis for you to obtain the most complete and up to date information from Katolight.
